AlphaWhores are an alternative metal duo from Panama, Central America. It is a supergroup of sorts, with both Massiel and Juan Carlos having had long and successful careers in music before they came together as AlphaWhores.

AlphaWhores released their debut album, ‘I’ (“one”), in January 2024 on their own label, preceded by the singles ‘Same Team’, ‘Raw Nerve’, and ‘GTO.’ With limited promotion the album has spread organically via word of mouth in the metal community worldwide.

AlphaWhores released their new single ‘Over and Over’ in January ’25, ahead of their first 20 date European headline tour in February and March.

Their show at the Black Heart will be their first ever performance in the UK.
