MARCO MENDOZA BRINGS A VIVA LA ROCK WEEKEND TO UK 

Viva La Rock was big, bad, and beautiful. It reflected the larger-than-life personality of its creator Marco Mendoza both on and off stage. With a ‘New Direction’, the following album, that sentiment was re-enforced!

The Los Angeles native who has a proud Spanish/Mexican heritage has usually been found in the past holding down the bass rock foundation with artists like Neal Schon (Journey), Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Ted Nugent and The Dead Daisies as well as contemporary artists like Delores O’Riordan.

This November will see him play a very short run of dates over a weekend. On the 17th he will bring his band back to London where he plays The Black Heart. The Viva La Rock Fiesta Weekend will also see several guest appearances from some of Marco’s many musical friends. The support for the tour comes from Scottish band Silent Thieves who also feature singer/guitarist Mark Allison know for his work in designing album covers for Marco, The Dead Daisies, and others.

With a cauldron full of influences caressing Marcos Rock sound including blues, funk and R&B, there is something for everyone that loves great music, and for good measure there a little of his past thrown in with some well-known classics included in his set.
