‘Coping Mechanism’ EP Launch
Four years since the release of their debut EP ‘Innocent Until Proven Filthy’ and its legendary(-ish) sold-out launch show, London-based ska punks Filthy Militia return with ‘Coping Mechanism’.

Funded through a Kickstarter campaign over lockdown and recorded, mixed and mastered by Oz Craggs at Hidden Track Studios (Call Me Malcolm, Millie Manders, 24 Hour Punks), Coping Mechanism presents 5 new tracks developed over as many years, including live favourite “Land Of The Dead”.

The record draws influence from all corners of the ska punk world with dub, reggae and gypsy sounds all creeping in. Overall of this is lyrics covering such topics as isolation, struggling music venues and good ol’ fashioned love.

Coping Mechanism is the best selection of songs Filthy Militia have put out to date, and this is definitely a reason to party. So come join us at The Black Heart, Camden to celebrate bringing our new baby into the world.
