W Communcation and Jackson Guiatrs have created a small piece of rock history, bringing ambitious upcoming metal guitarists on stage for a live talent contest unlike any other.

To mark the launch of @officialjacksonguitars American Series Soloist, a guitar brand synonymous with heavy music, they’ve partnered with British Nu-Metal duo @thisiswargasmuk for a live shredding contest (shredding is the art of high-speed metal playing…obviously).

On Tuesday 11th October, Jackson is calling upon daring players to audition for a spot on stage, the best to be selected by a panel of judges including BBC Radio 1/Kerrang! Radio presenter Alyx Holcombe, Jackson Artist Marketing Manager Tim Hillier-Brook, and The Black Heart team. The task is simple – shred your heart out to any track of your choosing on the Jackson American Series Soloist SL3.

When: Tuesday 11th October, from 5:00pm - 6:30pm
