On Saturday 5th March, we’re excited to have Ashford’s Riskee and the Ridicule back to headline The Black Heart in Camden. The four piece have been ripping up the underground music scene for four years now with their unique punk poetry, driven by frontman Scott’s energised vocals and witty yet socially aware lyrics that are delivered in a style that slips between singing and rapping. After building up a loyal following in their native Kent, their 2014 album ‘Dawn of the Dogs’ received rave reviews from the UK’s underground press, with the past year seeing their popularity rapidly increase across the rest of the country and Europe. They’ve been busy writing and recording in early 2016, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us on March 5th! Support comes from Carter Daze and everyone’s favourite band TBC. Doors at 8, £4, 18+.
