Formed in 2012, Derange is made up of Cat Pereira (vocals), Nick Crosby (guitar), Joe Macpherson (bass) and Warren de Melo (drums). They marked their work soon after their inception, with their singles 'Ego' and 'Unleash', followed by several live shows, appealing to fans and receiving positive reviews.In 2013, they took their time to produce and record their acclaimed EP 'Change', featuring their single 'Pretty Ones'. Once released in May 2014, it brought the band to a much wider audience at an international level, as well as garnering national press in the likes of Front Magazine along the way. In 2015, Derange started recording their debut album 'The Awakening', which explores a further tech metal path and Derange’s own sound, referencing forward thinking bands such as Karnivool, Tesseract and Periphery, while keeping their nu-metal roots. Produced by highly praised Russ Russell (Dimmu Borgir, Sikth, Napalm Death, Evile, Amorphis etc...), 'The Awakening' has a set release date for October 5th.
